HELENAWIT • ሔለናዊት is an Ethiopian vocalist, songwriter, and performer whose music blends contemporary soul, jazz, and Ethiopian musical traditions. With more than six years of professional performance experience, HELENAWIT • ሔለናዊት has established herself as a distinctive voice in Ethiopia's contemporary music scene. Her work is rooted in authenticity, emotional connection, and artistic freedom.

Artistic Vision
From silence comes sound. From emptiness comes creation. From uncertainty comes discovery. For ሔለናዊት, music is a journey inward—a process of finding the true self through stillness, reflection, and presence.
Inspired by Ethiopian musical traditions, soul, jazz, and contemporary African sounds, she creates music that celebrates identity, freedom, truth, and human connection. Her artistic expression is rooted in the belief that when distractions fall away, what remains is the essence of who we are.

ሔለናዊት is preparing her debut EP developed over several years in collaboration with Ethiopian jazz pianist, composer, and educator Abiy W/Mariam. Recorded with Cherat Band, the project blends Ethiopian musical traditions with contemporary soul and jazz influences.
